Azithromycin 500 mg Tablets

There are a variety of bacterial infections that azithromycin can treat. It prevents bacteria from growing. It will not work for viral infections. Antibiotics can lose their effectiveness if they are overused or misused.

Mechanism of Action:

It is a macrolide antibacterial drug. According to in vitro incubation techniques, azithromycin accumulates in phagocytes and fibroblasts. After one hour of incubation, this method resulted in a ratio of extracellular to intracellular concentration of >30. Drug distribution to tissues inflamed may be affected by phagocyte concentration in vivo.
